Whoever eats this bread will live forever

22 JUNE (Jn 6,51-58)

The reality of man is one: he is in death. This is his historical truth. He is in death because he is a special creature. He was conceived, designed, wanted like a child who must remain forever in the bosom of his Creator and Lord, in whom draw his life forever. He must never leave the womb of his God. If he leaves it for one of his foolish and insane decisions, he instantly rushes into the arms of death, which is not only physical, but above all spiritual; that is, impossibility for him to live even his physical life because of the spiritual forces that are in him in death. Will, intelligence, heart, mind and thoughts become unable to think according to truth. They lead man from falsehood to falsehood and as a result from death to death. This is the historical truth of man. No one might ever deny it.

This spiritual death, this natural incapacity of orienting his daily existence toward life, turns into a death that embraces all levels of his existence and of his work. No sector in which human life is called to develop and grow is free from this death spiral. In the very Church, since many every day fall from true faith, these signs of death that kill body and soul are experienced. Let nobody wonder and delude himself. Let no one be shocked. This is the story. It would suffice only bit of wisdom, intelligence and good will, to bring life back where there is death; and it happens instead that death is heightened, increased, and it is made to grow out of proportion, because one is always out of the bosom of God.

Jesus comes and makes man an amazing promise. He opens him the doors of life and announces him that time has come where every death can be defeated, including the physical one. For this promise to be realized it requires that man returns into the womb of God in his breast. However,  the return is not like at the beginning of creation. This time it is God himself who wants to enter into the womb of man’s heart, his soul and his spirit to remain there forever. If a man accepts God as a perennial fruit of his mind and his heart, his will and his feelings, his wisdom and intelligence, his body and his soul, life will return to his limbs and he will be a diffuser of life around him. The condition must be observed forever. But how dos God enter into the bosom of a man to develop in him into a new life? Into a life, capable of giving life to all of humanity? The answer is simple: by receiving Jesus under the species of bread and wine with pure most and holy faith.

I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.” The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us (his) flesh to eat?” Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever.”

God is eternal life. No one else. The eternal life of God is wholly in Christ Jesus. Christ Jesus is in his body and in his blood. It is in them that he placed himself and has placed all the power of eternal life. If a man believes in his words, receives the Eucharist with the fullness of faith, charity and hope, Christ is conceived in the heart and soul and becomes for the man an inexhaustible source of divine and eternal life. It is a life that develops, grows, becomes more and more real and stronger. It produces fruits of salvation and redemption. It is made a true source of eternal life for many other hearts. The Eucharist is the true source that is placed in the human heart as the source welling up to eternal life for all. It is urgent that every day this faith is enlivened, healed and set free from all pathogens.

Virgin Mary, Mother of the Redemption, Angels and Saints give us a true and holy faith.
